Five, the introduction of the chip:

ADF5355 combined with external loop filter and external reference frequency when using, can achieve fractional N frequency or integer N frequency synthesizer phase locked loop (PLL) frequency synthesizer. A series of frequency divider can achieve 54 MHz to 6800 MHz operating frequency.

ADF5355 has integrated VCO, its fundamental frequency range is 3400 MHz to 6800 MHz. In addition, the VCO frequency can be 1, 2, 4, 8, 16, 32 or 64 frequency, so users can produce as low as 54 RF MHz output frequency. For applications that require isolation, the RF output level can be muted. Mute function can be controlled by pin, and can also be controlled by software.

All on-chip registers are controlled by a simple three wire interface. ADF5355 uses 3.15 V to 3.45 V analog and digital power supply, and with 4.75 V to 5.25 V charge pump and VCO power supply. In addition, ADF5355 also built hardware and software power saving mode.
