    v. Chip introduction:

    when the ADF5355 is used in combination with the external loop filter and the external reference frequency, it can realize the frequency synthesizer of decimal N frequency division or integer N frequency division phase locked loop (PLL). The microwave broadband VCO design allows an operating frequency of 6.8 GHz to 13.6 GHz at a radio frequency (RF) output. A series of frequency dividers output at other frequencies can achieve operating frequencies from 54 MHz to 6,800 MHz.

    The ADF5355 has an integrated VCO with a basewave output frequency ranging from 3400 MHz to 6800 MHz. In addition, VCO frequencies can be divided by 1, 2, 4, 8, 16, 32 or 64, so users can generate RF output frequencies as low as 54 MHz. For applications requiring isolation, the RF output stage can be muted. The mute function can be controlled either by pins or by software.

    All on-chip registers are controlled by a simple three-wire interface. The ADF5355 operates with an analog and digital power supply of 3.15V to 3.45V, with a charge pump of 4.75V to 5.25V and A VCO power supply. In addition, the ADF5355 also has built-in hardware and software power saving modes.
