    Ready for BQB, APT-X, CE and FCC

    Bluetooth receiver boards belong to electronic components instead of assets. Thereby FCC and CE certications are not necessarily needed since the FCC and CE certication are directed at nal products with enclosure. To simplify customers’ task of achieving certications for your nal product, we have done the pre-test for EMC part in the laboratory, saving much of your valuable time and costs, but we didn't issue the paper certication. The nal equipment must be re-conrmed that it still meets EMC directives.

    Easy for Integration

    Bluetooth receiver boards come with various terminals for multiple output methods, 3.5mm jack and RCA jack for analog signal (For all BRBs) and I2S and S/ PDIF for digital signal (Only apply to BRB5), which makes it convenient for customers to integrate the Bluetooth receiver board into their applications, saving much development costs and time. Customers could also extend the bluetooth receiving distance by an external Bluetooth antenna, which is attached in the package of BRB4, BRB5 and BRB6 and for BRB3 can be realized through the socket on board (Not apply to BRB1 and BRB2).Choosing a Bluetooth receiver board for product develpoment will save huge maintenance costs and time because of the reliable quality of BRB series, ensuring them stable in customers’ system with low repair rate .BRB series has three dimensions, perfectly satisfying dierent requirements of customers for dierent applications. To improve the connection and measurement eciency and save customers’ cost on installations, Sure Electronics also provides a L-style aluminium bracket for BRB series. The aluminium bracket supports vertical and horizontal installtion ways to meet dierent installation requirements. With 4 pieces M3 screw lock standos and 2 pieces M3 pre-drilled mounting holes, the Bluetooth receiver boards could be installed on the bracket easily.

    Voice Customisable in Factory

    This function is only available on Bluetooth V2.1 Audio Receiver Board Starter - BRB1 (AA-AB41151). MOQ 100 pieces will be requested. Customer could send us a .wav le and it could be set as boot music and prompt tone for Bluetooth paring, disconnection, power o and low power. File size could not exceed 248kb. This service will cost $0.99 for each. If the order quantity is more than 500pcs, this service will be free.

    Bluetooth Pairing Name Programming

    Sure Electronics oers three methods to program Bluetooth pairing name for customers. Customer could pay US$0.99 for each module and send the Paring Name to storesure-electronics.com for conrmation. Be very careful about special character and space. Serial Number for each module is acceptable. Or customer could program the Bluetooth pairing name by themselves with a PIC KIT 3 programmer or a USB to Serial adapterMethod 11. Send the Pairing Name by email to storesure-electronics.com for conrmation.
    2. Select the Bluetooth Pairing Name Programming drop-down list on Bluetooth receiver board product description page.
    Please note: For order quantity less than 100pcs, this service will cost $0.99 for each, no MOQ. If the subtotal of an order is more than $1000, or quantity is more than 100pcs, this service will be free. Customers could use any Bluetooth Pairing Name, and must send the Pairing Name by email to storesure-electronics.com for conrmation. Be very careful about special character and space. Serial Number for each module is acceptable.Method 2. (This function is only available on BRB5.)1. Choosing a PIC KIT 3 for Bluetooth pairing name programming.
    2. Installing the software (for more detailed information, please refer to PIC KIT 3 user manual)
    3. Connecting the Bluetooth receiver board
    3.1. Plug in the USB/ power cable
    3.2. Attach the communication cable(s) between programmer and Bluetooth receiver board if using RJ11 plug or connect directly to a 6-pin inline header.
    4. Settings
    4.1. Under Device Family -> Midrange -> Standard.
    4.2. From Device drop down select “PICF16F690”.
    4.3. From Tools drop down select “Check Communication”.
    4.4. Settings as shown in red area in Figure 3-5:
    Uncheck the “Hex only” under Program Memory.
    Under EEPROM Data:
    Enable the Byte ASCII.
    Change the rst data to 00 on “00” line.
    Bluetooth pairing name: “08” and “10” lines
    Translate your pairing name into
    ASCII, for example, “87 79 78 68 79 77” refer to
    “WONDOM”

    Method 3. (This function is only available on BRB5)

    1. Choosing a USB to Serial adapter for Bluetooth pairing name programming.
    2. Connecting the Bluetooth receiver board
    3.1. Plug in the USB/ power cable
    3.2. Attach the communication cable(s) between programmer and Bluetooth receiver board if using RJ11 plug or connect directly to a 6-pin inline header.
    4. Settings
    4.1. Double click “Hyper terminal” application and creat a new connection, for ex. “BT_COM”.
    4.2. Open device manager and check for a new assigned COM port.
    4.3. From Connect using drop down select the new assigned COM port.
    4.4. From Bits per second drop down select 115200.
    4.5. Under File -> Properies -> Setting -> ASCII SetupEnable “Echo typed character locally”. Click “OK” to nish the settng.
    4.6. Enter “BPN: xxxxx” to program your unquie pairing name and “BPC: xxxxx” to set your Bluetooth PIN code.

    Button Control
    (Apply to BRB4, BRB5 and BRB6)

    BRB series provides a convenient media control way for all customers through 5 control buttons on board, realizing the functions of play, pause, volume up, volume down, pervious track and next track (Apply to BRB4, BRB5 and BRB6).
    There is a 8-pin PH terminal on BRB4, BRB5 and BRB6 specially designed for customers who want external buttons of media control through a 8-pin cable. For industrial customers who may need external panel of these buttons, Sure Electronics can also provide matched solutions for you.     Fully Digital Solutton Available

    Sure Electronics provides a fully digital solution, using direct digital output from Bluetooth chipset, and using a clock recovery chip to output the S/PDIF signal through both TOSLINK and Coaxial port. Some versions have been built in high sound quality DAC which use PCM1794 from Texas Instruments, to provide best sound quality in Bluetooth solutions.
