    Answer: There are two kinds,

    Case 1. Lithium battery, stop after charging to the voltage of the protection board. Deliberately lowering the voltage "trickle maintenance" refers to the use of trickle charging, that is, charging with a small current after the battery is fully charged, so that the electrons can keep flowing and prolong the battery life. (For example, 54.6V can be set to 54 to keep the protection board non-stop, 3a, 2a, 1a, 0.5a such trickle maintenance)

    Case 2. Batteries, the charger is overcharged due to high voltage. Adjustable chargers can be avoided. For example: the charging voltage of 48v battery is 57.6v according to 14.4v*4, as for this problem of full stop. It is equivalent to you setting 56v. When the battery is charged to the set voltage, the current is 4A when it is less than 56v. After charging to 56v, the current will gradually decrease to 4A, 3A, 2A, 1A, 0.5A, 0A for trickle maintenance.

    For batteries, for example, the theoretical charging voltage of a 12V20AH battery is 12V*1.2=14.4V, and the current is 20AH*0.2c=4A. The actual battery life is considered: the voltage of 13.8-14.2 is slightly lower than the maximum voltage, and the current is 3-3.5A.

    Therefore, the adjustable power supply is independent and controllable. It is not a finished charger sold on the market. The 12V charger is made into 168V. The high voltage can indeed improve the charging speed, but the battery is damaged faster.
