LPS 8 is an open source LoRaWAN gateway. It allows you to bridge the Lora wireless network to an IP network via WiFi or Ethernet. Lora wireless allows users to send data and reach extremely long ranges at extremely low data rates.
LPS 8 uses Semtech packet forwarders and is fully compatible with the LoRaWAN protocol. It includes an SX 1308LoRa concentrator to provide 10 programmable parallel demodulation paths.
LPS 8 is pre-configured with the standard LORAWAN frequency band, which can be used in different countries. Users can also customize the frequency band used for their own LORA network.
Version 868: Effective frequency band: 863Mhz ~ 870Mhz. Suitable for EU868 or IN865 LoRaWAN frequency band
Version 915: Effective frequency range: 902Mhz ~ 928Mhz. Suitable for US915, AU915, AS923 or KR920 frequency bands
