The vector network analyzer of DIY refers to the design of edy555 in Japan, modifies some circuits, adds battery management circuits and redesigns PCB. A simple and practical PC control software is designed. Touchstone (snp) files can be exported from PC software for various radio design and simulation software. The improved frequency algorithm can use the odd harmonic expansion of si5351 to support the measurement frequency of 900MHz and design a metal shield to reduce external interference and improve the measurement accuracy. The 50K-300MHz frequency band directly output by si5351 can provide better dynamic than 70dB, the extended 300M-600MHz band can provide better dynamic than 50dB, and the 600M-900M band is better than 40dB.
This is a DIY product, which provides perfect vector network measurement function in the size of credit card as far as possible. Contains a 2.8-inch touch screen, 400 mAh battery, which can be used offline for 2 hours. For longer measurements, please attach mobile power or contact me to make a larger battery version. TX/RX measurement can measure the complete parameters of S11 and S21. If the parameters of S12 and S22 need to be acquired, the connection of transceiver and receiver ports need to be replaced manually. If there are other imperfections, you can communicate with me.

A lot of feedback was received from Ham for antenna measurements. A large font version of nanoVNA_900_AA was modified. If you need a large font version of the software, you can update the firmware according to the disc tutorial after you receive it, and you can also take notes when you take pictures. You can refresh the corresponding version of the software to choose the appropriate use, what problems can also be directly fed back to me, software updates will be put on the network disk. As a measuring equipment, accuracy is naturally very important. Simple calibration parts are attached to this machine. As with commercial vector network analysis, good accuracy can be obtained by correct calibration before use. Two ports will be calibrated before shipment. If you change the measurement conditions (such as through extended line measurement), you need to re-calibrate. The calibration saved to set 0 can be used directly at the next boot, or can be saved to the other four saved items when they need to be used by recall call. The following figure shows the comparison data of a V-segment duplexer measured using NanoVNA and Agilent E5062A under the same test conditions:
