Sensor principle and components
The sensor uses a 785nm laser, and fine particles have good scattering properties at this wavelength. The laser emits directional light, and the diameter of the emitted beam is only a few tenths of a millimeter. The beam passes through the collimating lens and the column transmission and then enters the gas chamber, and is scattered by the sample sucked by the vacuum pump. The scattered light is reflected by the mirror to the photodiode, and the particles are generated. The scattered light will generate a pulse signal of the same size through a photodiode, and then amplify the pulse signal through a precision operational amplifier, and then perform micro-processing calculations through the MCU to calculate the mass concentration value of the particulate matter with high precision.
In order to prevent the interference of the reflected light from the light beam in the gas chamber, a light trap is specially designed, and a filter is installed at the light trap, which greatly reduces the reflection interference of the light beam.
