    Features:

    3. The power supply uses 1 AAA battery (SIZE AAA, 1.0V-4.2V can be used). The maximum working current is about 200mA under 1.2V power supply, and no power is consumed when the test button is not pressed.     Instructions:

    1. Connect the power supply. Install a AAA battery. USB interface power-taking type Insert the USB plug into the USB socket of the computer. If possible, use a USB extension cable (male-female double-ended) to avoid damage to the USB socket during the test.

    2. Put the tested chip into the IC test socket, the chip's notch is downward, the upper end is aligned, and locked.

    3. Press the test button (long press), if the chip is intact, the LED digital tube will display the model of the tested chip after about 0.5s.

    4. If a damaged chip is encountered, the chip is placed incorrectly or the chip model is not within the test range, the LED digital tube will display "ERR" after pressing the test button for about 0.5s, but this will not cause any damage to the tested chip .

    5. When testing LED display devices, it is not necessary to consider the common cathode or common anode of the device, the order of the pins, etc., as long as all the pins are inserted into the test socket, the test can be performed. After pressing the test button, after the digital tube of the tester displays "ERR", all intact pen segments (pixels) of the device under test will be lit, and the presence or absence of dead pixels, die brightness and brightness uniformity will be judged by visual inspection.

    Precautions:

    1. Do not perform online testing of components.

    2. The test results of some ICs will include multiple models. For example, the 74HC139 test will display CD4556 74HC139 in order, because the logic function and pin arrangement of the 74HC139 and CD4556 are exactly the same. Therefore, it takes longer to press the key during the test. After all the models are displayed, release the test key.

    3. Do not test live components.

    4. Do not insert foreign objects into the locking test socket.

    5. When the battery voltage is lower than 1.0V, the display may be abnormal, and the battery needs to be replaced.

    6. Use the USB interface of the computer to get power as much as possible for the USB interface power-taking type, and be cautious with using the mobile phone charger with the USB interface as the power source, because the output voltage of many mobile phone chargers is 5.5V or higher, and the ripple is too large.

    7. Since the PCB is unprotected, it is necessary to prevent contamination.

    8. When testing LED display devices, the test current is small, but it also causes some devices with too low brightness to be tested without strong light. Usually, each pen segment of the digital tube of 1.2 inches and above is a structure of multiple LED dies in series, which requires a higher voltage to light up, and this structure cannot be tested.

    9. Since some large-size LED display devices cannot be directly plugged into the test socket, an extension cord is required during the test process, please prepare your own.

    10. If the device under test is not packaged in DIP, an adapter may be required, please bring your own.

    11. This product does not come with batteries.
