or Stemma QT SHIM for Raspberry Pi is a small, easily removable wire splitter that easily adds a 4-pin JST SH pin (Stemma QT or ) connector to your Raspberry Pi. The SHIM design allows you to plug directly into the Pi's I2C bus without soldering, and the thin PCB design allows it to clip onto your Pi GPIO with other valve covers or hats! SHIM is useful if you want to simply and easily add connectors to your Pi without soldering.

The SHIM uses a unique friction-based connector that wedges itself into the GPIO connector for a secure, solderless connection. It has a JST SH connector that connects to Pi's I2C bus (SDA, SCL, 5V, and ground). The SHIM also has a 3.3V voltage regulator, so it can be used with all or Stemma QT devices.

You can combine it with any other with a "PI-compatible pin arrangement" (and there are many!).
